The Ambush Burrow-nit is a member of the Burrow-nit family in Pikmin: Dual Worlds that hides in the ground, waiting to strike. Their eyes are green, their body is gray, and their shell is often covered in grass. It keeps its eyes aboveground, waiting for prey to walk over it. Once they do so, the Ambush Burrow-nit will unearth itself, throwing its prey forward and stabbing them with its proboscis, eating them soon after. Ambush Burrow-nits take a keen eye to spot, as their face is covered in dirt, helping the creatures stay undetected.
