The Clicking Slurker is a small umbloda that remains stationary high above ground, waiting for Pikmin to pass below it. At that point, it drops its tongue to catch them, but hitting the tongue will release any that are caught. With continuous hits to the tongue, the creature drops to the ground and can be harmed.

The Clicking Slurker is a species of umbloda in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. It resembles its original counterpart in Hey! Pikmin. The small creature will float around, usually in cramped areas. It will thrust down its small, sticky tongue at Pikmin on the ground below, and if the tongue is not attacked, the Pikmin will die. If it is, the small creature will fall to the ground, where it can be attacked. Along with this, Winged Pikmin can be used to attack the creature, and a hit from a Rock Pikmin or Purple Pikmin when down can kill it instantly. Weighted Pikmin, if absorbed, will weigh it down instantly. Rubber Pikmin cannot be caught in the goop.

Notes

Olimar's notes

Unlike the Medusal Slurker, which captures Pikmin for seemingly no reason, this smaller creature captures small insects for food. The small feather on its head is used for movement, letting the small blob drift along the wind. If this feather were to be removed, the Slurker would basically be immobile.

Louie's notes

This creature's odd skin composition makes it a good substitute for chewing gum when flavored correctly.

President’s notes

Olimar and the ship were laughing at me! They said this blob's one feather resembles me with my single tuft of hair... Those dolts! I really need a wig...
