Attacks Stacks Dweevils on top of itself, Crushes Pikmin (After armor damage is repaired)

The Elder Foundation Dweevil is the fully-grown, more intelligent form of the Foundation Dweevil appearing in Pikmin: Dual Worlds. Because of its massive size and distinct, functional arms, the Elder Foundation Dweevil is thought to be a close relative of the Titan Dweevil, which it is slightly larger than. Unlike most dweevils, they do not utilize a hazard. Elder Foundation Dweevils pick up smaller, nearby elemental dweevils and place them on their main body to form a tower of dweevils, much like their smaller form. Also, like their smaller form, Elder Foundation Dweevils are intelligent dweevils that possess a basic understanding of Pikmin having immunities to a range of hazards and having power in numbers, and so they serve as a figurative foundation for the tower of elemental dweevils it builds over itself, hence the name. Because of their heightened intelligence, Elder Foundation Dweevils seek out a wide range of elemental dweevil species rather than a small assortment of them to increase the variety present in the components of their dweevil stack.

The exoskeleton of an Elder Foundation Dweevil extends beyond the top of their legs, creating a cylindrical opening that Spitball Dweevils use as footholds. The interior of the openings are coated in the sticky substance that Sticky Dweevils produce, and its legs and head are covered in crystal armor created by Calcifus Dweevils at some point before an encounter with them. A Spitball Dweevil is positioned on each leg of an Elder Foundation Dweevil, and atop their head is a Calcifus Dweevil that created footholds for itself. The Spitball Dweevils on its legs and Calcifus Dweevil on its main body will fire directly at Pikmin and leaders that are in range. On top of the Calcifus Dweevil is a tall stack of dweevils containing Fiery Dweevils, Caustic Dweevils, Anode Dweevils, Munge Dweevils, Chill Dweevils, Acidic Dweevils, Sticky Dweevils, Oily Dweevils, Surprenant Dweevils, and Withering Dweevils. Any nearby dweevils that are alive will be picked up by the Elder Foundation Dweevil using its arms, and will automatically climb to the top of the stack.

An Elder Foundation Dweevil can be defeated by throwing Rock Pikmin at its legs until their armor breaks, then throwing more Rock Pikmin at it to throw it off balance a bit. Multiple dweevils will tumble off the stack as a result of the Elder Foundation Dweevil's movement, impact with the ground potentially killing them. The Elder Foundation Dweevil will walk around a bit quicker for a while, slowing down for a bit afterward, allowing the Calcifus Dweevil on it to repair its armor. Repeat this process until no dweevils are left except for the Spitball Dweevils and the Calcifus Dweevil. Break one leg's armor to throw the massive dweevil off balance, and then break another to leave it on two legs. This will cause the Spitball Dweevils and Calcifus Dweevil to fall off. After they are dead, the Elder Foundation Dweevil will be completely helpless. Destroy another of its legs' armor to knock the Elder Foundation Dweevil almost completely off balance, and the armor on its head can be targetted. After doing so, Yellow Pikmin can be used to attack the creature's now-vulnerable body. After its defeat, the Elder Foundation Dweevil will yield a treasure, and its body can be recovered. It is unknown if the Elder Foundation Dweevil's stack can be felled with a Volatile Dweevil because none are found in its arena.
