The Flighty Joustmite is a burrow-nit that has the ability to fly. Much like its relative, the Joustmite, it emerges from the ground when Pikmin and leaders approach, thrusts its proboscis to eat them, and has a fleshy backside that is unprotected by its shell. Once one-fourth of its health is depleted, it will attempt to take to the skies. If it attempts to eat a Pikmin while in flight and misses, its proboscis will become stuck in the ground for a few seconds. The Flighty Joustmite regenerates health constantly, and when its health reaches ninety percent, it will return to the ground.
