The Forte Grousp is a snavian that has grey and brown scutes with black stripes on its back, with sharp tail feathers featuring orange stripes, a large black plume of feathers around its head and neck, and has a long, sharp beak, which it uses to peck and rapidly stab at Pikmin, Leaders, and smaller enemies than it. It can also swing its beak around in an arc to slash at prey, turn its head 90 degrees to slam its beak into the ground, or shake its tail feathers to cut Pikmin attempting to attack it from behind. It may also slam itself into the ground to execute a devastating 270 degree slash, throwing Pikmin to the sides, crushing them, or cutting them to bits. It tends to telegraph its feather shaking attack by ruffling its feather plume. It attacks rather slowly, rather easily allowing one to get out of the way. However, it has a rather long body, more so than most other snavians, allowing it great reach with its attacks. Ranging Excalivlets are one of the few beings capable of blocking or deflecting its attacks, though they tend to need to work as a team to do so, and can be found nearby on occasion practicing against each other, or fighting the beast itself. Fighting the beast after a failed attempt of theirs tends to lead to an easier fight, as it will usually be injured a decent amount. Pikmin that are knocked to the side have a chance of being deflowered.
