The majority of enemies in Pikmin 2 were in caves. However, as caves are absent in Pikmin 3, it makes sense for cave-dwelling enemies to not be present. The size of the areas, though, slightly makes up for this, as they introduce quite a few new enemies... ~PikFan23 (Admin)

Some enemies from Pikmin 1 weren't featured in Pikmin 2, like the super awesome Armored Cannon Beetle. Although PikFan23 has a good point and I am willing to let most of the enemies go, I wish they had included Bulbmin and Breadbugs... However, I believe the good far outweighs the bad in Pikmin 3.
