So I've seen that a new model of the Wii, titled Wii Family Edition is going to replace the current model of the Wii. However, I am very unhappy with this:
- Point 1: It is built so it cannot stand upright
- Point 2: It cannot support Nintendo GameCube media
What are you thinking, Nintendo? If this new... "model"... (it is more of an abomination) is supposedly going to bring in many more new customers, think again, for the sales will IMMEDIATELY drop. This is a fatal mistake, Nintendo! All the people who want to buy a Wii... Do so, before this horrid version usurps the current Wii! Please voice in your comments/opinions on this horrible new design. ~ I'm Pik

- It isn't going to replace the Wii, merely become it's successor. I don't like the idea at all, however. Zoadra
Admin, Bureaucrat - Ugh. Nintendo should not abandon all ties to gamecube games. The gamecube was a great system with a controller that fit easily in your hand and games that were worth more playability than some of the junk today.
