The Fragmenting Mosshop is a species of pinchipede that hides in Moss, Tall grass, and other hiding spots that allow it to evade being seen. When approached by Pikmin, Leaders, and other hostile enemies, it leaps from its hiding spot and starts hopping around, attempting to evade the being that disturbed it. After about 15-25 seconds of this, it will stop hopping about and burst into 5-10 Mosshop Larvae.
