The Luminous Long Legs is a miniboss found in the Karst of Gales. Structurally similar to its close relative, the Beady Long Legs, this arachnorb's exoskeleton is a shiny black color, and its head, feet, and the joints of its legs are able to glow brightly. In particular, whenever this creature stomps the ground, it creates a small flash of light that startles Pikmin within the radius and sends them scattering; whistle them to bring them to their senses before they blunder under a crushing foot. The Luminous Long Legs' head can also flash in the same way, but it only does so to shake off attacking Pikmin. Upon death, it leaves no salvageable corpse, as its remains simply crumble to dust, but it does drop whatever it was carrying beforehand.
