The Mosshop Larva is the larval form of the Fragmenting Mosshop, and 5-10 of them will swarm out in all directions after being born, eating hiding spots, decorative vegetation, small enemies, and Pikmin in the vicinity, as well as you if you don't run away quickly or manage to throw a Pikmin directly on its head. After a few minutes of eating everything in sight, they tend to hide in hiding spots, on walls, and in the entrances of tunnels, and will leap out at anything that passes in front of them, cutting them down and eating them. They don't have much health, so now that they're separated and their feeding frenzy is over they're relatively easy to deal with.
