The Baby Bubblimp, officially named the Red Bubblimp, is a harmless newborn bubblimp that appears from ceilings as harmless drops of water before finally falling to the ground itself. It then walks towards the nearest leader or Pikmin, bursting and dying upon contact with them and knocking away those closest.

Attacks Bursts into water

The Baby Bubblimp is a very small enemy in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The creature resembles its original Hey! Pikmin incarnation. The Baby Bubblimp seems to appear mainly in caves, from water droplets dripping down from the cave ceiling. Sometimes, they may appear from natural bodies of water or water geysers above ground. They can even appear from waterfalls if there are any nearby. Once they appear, they will begin to float around randomly. Up to 3 Baby Bubblimps can appear from a water source. If the Baby Bubblimp bumps into anything except each other, it will pop and release a few droplets of water. This can be dangerous to non-Blue Pikmin. However, if a Blue Pikmin attacks the Bubblimp, it will pop without releasing water, essentially nullifying the creature's only attack. A Cactus Pikmin can also survive this attack, and benefit from its splash of water with its absorption ability.
