The Starving Bulborb is an emaciated grub-dog appearing in Pikmin: Redemption, at the Merged Nothingness' landing site. Its skin color is subdued, its eyestalks appear crumpled, and the spots on its back are faded. It stands in place, shivering, looking around for prey such as Pikmin. When it sees them, it will run after its targets and will continue to pursue them no matter how far they run, and must be dealt with beyond that point. While the optimal way to kill it is to sneak up on it from behind, Purple Pikmin should be used while it is in pursuit.
