The Thicket of Nourishment is the second area in Pikmin: Shipwrecked Stargazers. Inspired by Awakening Wood, the Thicket of Nourishment is a forested area with mild remains of human civilization, such as a ruined house. Some features include a river with lily pads and a few subterranean systems where Rock Pikmin can be found. A cliff area is also in this region, from which a ruined municipal city can be overlooked. This area is explored in the Challenge Mode stage Calamity Capitol. Purple Pikmin can also be found in one of the area's caves. Aside from Calamity Capitol, its associated challenge mode stage is Ebony Hollow.
The crew is first sent here by a renegade Venowraith after exploring Humpback Heights at Creature's Quay. With the Hocotate ship losing its main body, the crew has to make due and construct a new elevated base called the Lumberlift out of a section of a tree.
