There is. The [[PikminFanon:Talk page policy|talk page policy]] has a guide, though it might soon be moved to a help page. Hope that helps! Hey, Akram0218!

Hello, Akram0218, and welcome to Pikmin Fanon, the wiki where you can share your ideas about the Pikmin series! There's a lot to do around here, so we hope you'll stay and continue to edit the wiki. Please remember to sign in so you can edit and we can recognize you and your contributions. Before you begin editing, you should read Pikmin Fanon's policies and guidelines, and if you are new to wikis, check out the editing help page. The following links are to help familiarize you with some of the intricacies of our wiki. We hope you have a great time here and stay around for a while!

Useful links

Welcome to Pikmin Fanon. About your fangame, I'm afraid that it will be deleted shortly because it does not follow this specific rule. So, in case you have not read this one and our other policies and guidelines, I kindly ask you to please do so now, so whatever content is created by you in the future, can be retained. And as for your new fangame box art, I have made the needed changes to it so that it can stay. Happy editing! User:Username/sig 22:50, 17 December 2022 (UTC)

Show preview

Hey, just wanted to tell you that you can press the "show preview" button at the bottom of the editing window to view any changes you made to the current page. It's right beside the "save changes" button. That way you don't flood the recent changes page by making small adjustments. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  23:44, 18 December 2022 (UTC)

Would you kindly take the above message into consideration? ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  14:31, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
I am asking once again that you please use the "show preview" button while editing, to avoid flooding the recent changes page. It's right next to the "save changes" button. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  15:45, 17 January 2023 (UTC)

Re:Infobox

Infoboxes are pretty complicated. I personally don't recommend making any for a game unless it'll be vastly different from any existing infobox template, that way we avoid having near-duplicate templates. But, if you really have your heart set on it, you can copy and paste the code of any of the infobox templates we already have and edit them as necessary. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  15:53, 22 December 2022 (UTC)

Re:File sizes

That's something you do before uploading, using an image editing application. If you mean on the wiki, which you likely are, there's a help page for that. It's a little odd for infoboxes, because you type only the filename and its extension, without the brackets and without File:, in the |image= parameter. The |size= parameter handles the size and will function so long as the filename is established properly. I'd also like to urge you once more to use the "Show preview" button that's next to the "Save changes" button at the bottom of the editing window while editing, to avoid flooding the recent changes pages with extremely minor adjustments to a page. I also saw you were having difficulty with {{icon}}, but I fixed that for you. Also, when you sign your messages, you can just type ~~~~ at the end of them. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  14:22, 12 January 2023 (UTC)

Edit size

Hey, just so you know there's a button that allows you to see the changes you've made in page form, as well as one that directly shows you what's changed between the current version and your draft. Please use this henceforth to fine tune your pages instead of editing the same page 7+ times within the same ten minutes. Sorry for the inconvenience! User:Cyan piklord 64/sig

Broken links

I should've mentioned this to you personally and not just from edit summaries, but don't worry about making redirects to avoid having broken links to canon content like fruits and such. I'll get to making those pages eventually. Sorry for not elaborating sooner. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  16:27, 27 January 2023 (UTC)

Ice Pikmin

Because you apparently missed the announcement on the main page, I wanted to tell you personally to not document Pikmin 4 content until the game is released. Not to mention, it could've just been put on the Ice Pikmin's page instead of on a separate one. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  03:07, 9 February 2023 (UTC)

Re:Edit media banner

To do that, your game's banner can be made into its own template page and then edited from there. I can do that for you if you'd like, and you can tweak it as you see fit. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  14:34, 9 February 2023 (UTC)

It can be put on a page much like your game's existing banner can, but much shorter as it will appropriately be named {{P8TWB}}. That means it doesn't need a bunch of specific information like the game title and creator, because it'll be baked into the template itself. Plus, you can customize it however you want. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  14:58, 9 February 2023 (UTC)

I can do that for you. All it is is a matter of copying and editing code, really. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  15:20, 9 February 2023 (UTC)

There you go, I fixed it for you. If you need any help with it, just ask me. It's a little hard to figure out, but {{box}} has all the information you should need to customize the template however you want. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  15:47, 9 February 2023 (UTC)

Re:Catagories

There, I fixed it. The reason it was putting pages in that category is that part of the template wasn't updated to put pages in your game's category. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  14:30, 27 February 2023 (UTC)

Pikmin: The Show!

I really like the attention to detail you put into the Pikmin in the background of the show's cover art. I can recognize a lot of them! ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  16:42, 5 March 2023 (UTC)

Re:Pikmin Infoboxes and other Infoboxes for Fanfictions

Fanfictions don't have their own dedicated infoboxes, though {{infobox game}} seems to work well. Not that a show should belong in the fanfictions category, but I digress. There is {{infobox Pikmin}}, but that's geared more towards their use than their character traits, and {{infobox character}} isn't very useful with Pikmin characters. I'm not sure what the infobox you would make would look like, but the easiest way to make one is by copy-pasting the code of an existing one and editing it from there. As I said before, though, infoboxes can be very intricate and hard to understand, so you should only make one if you feel up to the task. Personally, I would just stick to writing descriptions of the show's characters on the show's page, since that's the easiest option. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  14:44, 6 March 2023 (UTC)

Re:Pikmin Spritesheets

Yeah, anyone can upload Pikmin sprite sheets. There are a couple in the pixel art category already. If you're asking about an application that is good for making sprites or editing images outright, I would highly recommend downloading paint.net if you use a computer. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  14:44, 16 March 2023 (UTC)

Re:How to customize your signature?

There is. The talk page policy has a guide, though it might soon be moved to a help page. Hope that helps! Also, I'm going to move your Pikmin userboxes page to be a subpage of your user page, since pages like that don't belong in the mainspace. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  14:21, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
