The Abandoned Frontier is an area in Pikmin: The Space Odyssey. It is a grassy plain with Red Bulborbs, Dwarf Red Bulborbs, and sheargrubs, but bears very little treasure. Additionally, Figworts and Wigleafs grow here. The Abandoned Frontier has two notable sections, both being asteroids reached using their respective asterrockets, and is where Void Pikmin are discovered.
Key sections
- Bursteroid
This asteroid is the first one explored, and where Void Pikmin are located. They are necessary to collect the Safe Seal due to the treasure being surrounded by goo.
- Bridgeroid
The second and final asteroid in the area, Bridgeroid has no treasures but does have pellets that are useful for Void Pikmin and Red Pikmin.
