Acoustic walls are obstacles in Pikmin Forever. They are metal panels mounted onto cave walls, built and positioned so precisely that one hit from a Rock Pikmin will resonate the entire cave, causing seismic changes that can alter the terrain. They can open up pathways but can also close some, and they always increase the chance of boulders or eggs falling from the ceiling. Sometimes more than one acoustic wall is present in one room, and each undoes the effects of another, to aid puzzle-solving. These obstacles increase the urgency of finding rubble for Rock Pikmin, as only their force can activate the acoustic wall.

The Acoustic wall is an object in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The large sheet of metal can usually be found underground, on the side of cave walls. Acoustic walls can be activated by throwing a Rock Pikmin or Weighted Pikmin at it. Doing so will cause a loud vibration sound to ring out, possibly causing a chunk of terrain to move or lower to reveal a pathway or entrance. Alternatively, they may cause numerous things to fall, like nectar eggs, boulders, gold nuggets, or even enemies like Water Dumples or Flatoculi. Sometimes there may be multiple acoustic walls in a sublevel, each one undoing what the others caused.
