The Ballistic Aristocrab is a species of onionshell appearing in Pikmin: Spark. They are crustaceans that have an orange, onion-shaped body with a reddish top. They dwell in dens, where they flatten the ground with their large, club-shaped claws. This claw is hollow and can hold a lot of material, which they use as their main means of attack. Depending on the type of material they collect, they can shoot a variety of projectiles at Pikmin and leaders: they can use common soil to shoot giant boulders in an arc, shoot snow to create a blanket of freezing mist, shoot sand to cause panic, or shoot metal to create an explosion. Alongside that, they have the typical aristocrab abilities of shooting bubbles and grabbing Pikmin with their claw. This unpredictable element makes them some of the most dangerous and challenging creatures to encounter. The best way to deal with them is to attack them with a large group of Rock Pikmin, but be careful as its large claw is more durable than that of the Peckish Aristocrab. Alternatively, use a few bomb rocks carried by Goo Pikmin to quickly destroy the claw, rendering the creature virtually harmless.
