Attacks Crushes Pikmin

The Ballooning Puffhog appears in Pikmin: Spark as a newly-discovered species of blowhog. It appears as a small, pale blue creature that resembles a frog, has finned back feet, a large mouth on its front. Dwelling in marshy and wet areas, they appear as slow creatures that move in small hops. However, like their puffhog relatives, they intake large amounts of air to inflate their bodies to a great size. After doing so, its larger frame causes most Pikmin to bounce off of it, and the ones that can latch on inflict reduced damage. The puffhog then attempts to roll over nearby captains, inadvertently crushing any Pikmin and other small creatures in its path. Eventually, the creature deflates on its own. Both forms have distinct weaknesses: while deflated, it is susceptible to swarming, particularly by the hard-bodied Rock Pikmin, and while inflated, it is weak to the crushing weight of Purple Pikmin. Due to this, situational awareness is recommended for fighting this blowhog relative. Upon death, it deflates a small size and spits out either a random-colored pellet or a Sparklium seed.

Notes

Abel's medical journal

While the skin isn't really of note in making medicine, I will say it makes a particularly great mask.

Lyn's sale review

The skin has many uses, such as burning it for oil, making rubber, or even making it into your favorite gum flavor. It has it all.
