Big Flowers are plants that can be bloomed by planting flowers within its vicinity. A big flower has three growth stages it will progress through as flowers are planted in its vicinity: sprout, bud, and blooming. Each time a big flower grows to its next stage, it will flash in light and change in appearance. In addition, when half of the flowers needed to bloom it are planted in its range, the bud will flash and falling petals will temporarily surround it. After enough flowers are planted in its range, the flower will bloom, revealing an expedition to collect fruit from it. Interacting with a bloomed big flower will cause it to yield one or two nectar, even if the expedition it revealed was completed. The color and type of the big flower when it blooms depends on those of the flowers planted in its range, and the more flowers there are of a particular species or color, the more likely the big flower will be to bloom into one.
There are some flowers that look like big flowers but have a rainbow bud; these are a different kind of flower, called a special spot.
