Attacks Eats and burns Pikmin

The Candle Phosbat is a species of aerodentia appearing in Pikmin: Spark, exclusively in the darkest of dens. They appear from Candle Phosbat pods and their mature form is the Molotov Phosbat guarding them. They have orange-red bodies with a small tuff of red hair and a pair of large ears. They behave like typical Phosbats, but periodically ignite themselves before sprinting wildly about, leaving behind a temporary trail of flames while they still burn. This characteristic makes Candle Phosbats most dangerous when in groups as their fire trails limit the movement options of leaders and Pikmin, which is especially debilitating when dealing with them and the Molotov Phosbat. Like its larger form, loud noises are its weakness, them taking massive damage when in the range of one such as a bomb rock explosion. Upon the Molotov Phosbat's death, all Candle Phosbats in the den shrivel and die simultaneously.

Notes

Abel's medical journal

Its fragile body disintegrates into ash, very flammable ash, upon death. Study at your caution.

Lyn's sale review

Usellable. The oil-like saliva isn't fully developed so it only runs and burns stuff.

PIX's creature scan

Younger form of the Molotov Phosbat. Its saliva lacks the oil-like qualities of its larger stage. Hates loud noises.
