The Chia Jellyfloat is a jellyfloat in Pikmin 4: The World to Free that acts as the miniboss of Jewel Citadel. During the battle against it, it shoots balls of elemental plasma at Pikmin and leaders that can burn, drown, or electrocute them depending on their color. The plasma balls can be deflected back at it by a leader holding a Pikmin of matching color, stunning the Chia Jellyfloat on contact and causing it to drop to the ground, vulnerable. Besides Captain Pikmin, the Chia Jellyfloat is the only creature on PNF-404 that can speak.

- “Wow, who knew this thing could speak to us? "How" is the question, which I sadly can't explain. Its body, unlike most jellyfloats', is made out of a plasma-like substance. Because of this, it can not inhale things.”
