The Cleric Stringfly is a whiskerpillar appearing in Pikmin: Spark and is the adult form of the Cleric Whiskerpillar. It is noted for its bold red-and-purple wings and pink body with a magenta tongue. Preferring to reside within nearby forests, they live on flora such as spiderworts to absorb their pollen. They leave behind a powdery residue from their wings that is poisonous to Pikmin but has revitalizing properties to other creatures. As protection, it lives with larger creatures and spreads its powder onto these more dangerous predators to heal them of injuries and revitalize them, also using its signature spring-like proboscis. This makes them dangerous in groups, especially in more densely packed areas where they often live with their younger form, making them potentially dangerous threats. White Pikmin and Winged Pikmin are best to attack these enemies as they are immune to the creature's dust. They often drop ultra-sweet spray.

Notes

Abel's medical journal

Dust has revitalizing properties similar to their younger forms. They would make great energy pills.

Lyn's sale review

Put the dust in boiling water and make it into a tea for days when you lack the energy to work.
