Corrosive Pitchersacks appear in Pikmin: Dual Worlds in a few areas, mostly in Latitude Lavaflow and Daybreak Desert, as well as some caves. The acid within its sac can be used to, among other things, harm enemies and destroy certain barriers and vegetation. It can easily be destroyed by Pikmin, resulting in splattering acid below and around it. The acid it releases upon bursting may splash on Pikmin, causing them to burn and wither if they aren't whistled soon after. It has watery variants such as the Overflowing Pitchersack, the larger Rainmaker Pitchersack, and a smaller variant known as the Droplet Pitchersack.
