The Creeping Glowcap is a chrysanthemum appearing in Pikmin E: Remastered. It is a large, frog-like beast that initially disguises itself as a Common Glowcap. It physically resembles the Pikmin 4 incarnation of the Creeping Chrysanthemum, but of a light cyan color with a red mouth, and root-like patterns covering its upper body. Despite its physical differences, it behaves nearly exactly like a Creeping Chrysanthemum. As such, Olimar and Louie have no notes for it.

Attacks Eats Pikmin

The Creeping Glowcap is a member of the chrysanthemum family in Pikmin: The After Years that mimics the appearance of the Common Glowcap. It highly resembles the Creeping Chrysanthemum except instead of having a red mouth and green body, it has a green mouth and a blue-green body. While it is disguised, a Creeping Glowcap can be told apart from a Common Glowcap because it will periodically shift its position, causing its mushrooms to sway. After it reveals its true form, it will attempt to eat any nearby Pikmin. Should it miss, it will instead smack its body and then fall backward, flailing helplessly for a short time before righting itself. Swarming it or throwing Purple Pikmin onto it are effective methods to kill it, but leaders can also punch it to death to minimize Pikmin casualties.

Attacks Eats and stuns Pikmin

The Glowtrap is a new creature discovered in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. Resembling the Creeping Chrysanthemum, this creature takes the form of a Common Glowcap. It has a bright blue body with two stubby arms with mushrooms at the tip. It has a large mouth on its stomach that it uses to scoop up Pikmin to eat. When attacked, it will flash light from its mushroom instead of shaking them off. This will stun Pikmin, making them easy prey if caught off-guard, but they will recover upon being whistled. If at least 10 Rubber Pikmin are in a squad, the light will be sent right back and stun the Glowtrap, an easy foil to the monster's attack. A Glowtrap leaves a Glowcap behind when killed.

Notes

  • P3 Data file icon.png Data file #1: Watch out when traversing large fields of Glowcaps. When there's Glowcaps, there's Glowtraps!
  • P3 Data file icon.png Data file #2: Glowtraps can stun your Pikmin with their light attack, though Rubber Pikmin can send that attack right back at them.

Olimar's notes

Another species of plant that is secretly a creature. Like the Creeping Chrysanthemum, this creature will disguise itself as the Glowcap, consuming small creatures in subterranean areas. This creature also constantly must emit lights from the Glowcap using Hocotatium 111. The creature spends its time consuming a rare species of berry to emit such glow, the Lumiberry.

Louie's notes

This creature's slabs of meat can be grilled and served as a spectacular lightshow! The meat will literally glow in your mouth!

President’s notes

Creatures that can disguise themselves as plants? Maybe I can use a disguise to spy on my competition! I’ll have to take notes from this large beast..
