The Dandelfly Larva is an aquatic insect that appears in Pikmin Eco. It is the larval stage to the Nectarous Dandelfly, only just bigger than a Wogpole, with a pale shell to cover its wings and a long barbed proboscis to catch prey. It is only found in shallow pools of the Bounty Canopy, and the Cloven Gardens on the hard mode difficulty. It remains stationary in the water and doesn't move until prey comes very close to it. Once close enough, it will spring out and stab it with its long proboscis. There are only a few seconds to save a Pikmin caught by it before it's swallowed and eaten.
