The Darkfreeze Hunger is a bizarre monster made of darkfreeze that appears in Pikspore. It looks vaguely similar to a common Bulborb but with a large mouth, two legs, one eye, and bright cyan spots. It also attacks the same as a Dwarf Bulborb, by walking over to Pikmin and eating up to three at a time. It wanders around the area and can stun Pikmin with a weak electric charge. Like most pure darkfreeze enemies, it dissolves into a dark-blue puddle and disappears when killed.
