The Diamond Long Legs is an arachnorb miniboss in Pikmin 4 (BallsAngus version). It is the rarest arachnorb encountered, appearing only once in Silver Lake, and in two caves, Chaotic Cove and Spider's Web. At Silver Lake it is located in a snowy arena to the east of the landing site, where there are gems arranged into the shape of a web. Rock Pikmin are recommended to fight the creature with as it has a covering made of diamond. When defeated there, it drops the Snow Parka.
The Diamond Long Legs can not be fought without using Rock Pikmin, which are immune to being crushed and stabbed, only making them more useful against the creature. To defeat it, simply throw Rock Pikmin at its protected core until its crystal coating shatters and then hit the main body to inflict damage to the boss. Whenever its armor is broken, shards of it will come crashing down to the ground, impaling any Pikmin unfortunate enough to be under them as they land. The coating will eventually reform and must be broken again.

Recent studies have also shown it can regrow its diamond covering, but it takes a lot of time, which is why it must be defeated as soon as possible when its soft core is exposed.”

In Pikmin IV, the Diamond Long Legs is a somewhat common arachnorb species. It moves incredibly slowly, and much like in Pikmin 4 (BallsAngus version), hitting its crystal armor until it breaks will reveal its vulnerable main body but allow the creature to move much faster. Breaking the bits of crystal on the boss's joints will deal a fair bit of damage to it. When defeated, the Diamond Long Legs will roar, stiffen up, drop whatever it was holding, and then completely shatter. The crystal shards will knock down Pikmin and leaders they land on but are otherwise harmless.

The Diamond Long Legs appears in Pikmin: The Arachnorbs Strike Back. It acts identically to its Pikmin: Treacherous Treasures incarnation but can skewer Pikmin below it, instantly killing them, by using its diamond-shaped body to drill into the ground.

The Dropperfoot Legs is a boss arachnorb in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. This insect resembles many other arachnorbs, but its main abdomen is covered in a shell of hard, rigid crystal. Its slender legs are made of a black organic material, and breaking the calcified crystal reveals the creature's soft, purple, pink-spotted exterior. Upon entering its arena, only a large ball of crystal resting on the ground is visible in it. When approached, however, four legs will immediately and violently erupt from it and lift the crystal off of the ground, the arachnorb revealing its true form.
The Dropperfoot Legs attacks by slamming its feet onto the ground in a set pattern. After each foot stomps twice, it will perform a slight hop and extend its legs upwards to slam its body into the ground before its four feet can, and then return to stomping about. Any Pikmin caught in this attack will be killed instantly, while Rock Pikmin and Weighted Pikmin will be returned to sprout form and have to be plucked. The crystal shell of the beast can be damaged. Breaking off a section of its shell will reveal a portion of its skin, and breaking off five sections will reveal the entire body, similar to an Armored Mawdad. Afterward, the arachnorb will start to stomp around at twice its usual speed and shake off any Pikmin that start to do serious damage to it. When it slams its abdomen into the ground at this point, any Pikmin in the way will simply be buried.
The Dropperfoot Legs can be dangerous if the right Pikmin are not used. Rock Pikmin and Weighted Pikmin are best fit for the fight as they can break open the crystal shell. Dart Pikmin can also crack open the shell with their sharp attack, albeit less efficiently, if thrown. Bomb Pikmin can also do major damage to the armor. Once defeated, the abdomen will open up and empty out the treasure, and the arachnorb will overheat and melt away. Defeating a Dropperfoot Legs for the first time will grant the "An Arachnorb and a Crushblat Walk Into a Bar..." achievement.
In Overlord mode, the Dropperfoot Legs will drop four Crystalline Crushblats upon defeat.

- “Unlike most arachnorbs, this species seems to develop its crystal shell from silica, like Calcified Crushblats. This is why I can only seem to find these creatures resting in the sand. Despite looking menacing, this creature is entirely passive and only uses its attacks as a defense mechanism to ward off other creatures. It seems to store an unnerving amount of energy and heat considering any dead specimen I try to retrieve just melts away.”

Diamond Long Legs is an arachnorb miniboss in Pikmin: Treacherous Treasures. It can only attack by stomping slowly about and crushing Pikmin under its large, clawed feet. Its metallic blue torso is protected by a large diamond, much like how its joints are protected by crystal beads, necessitating the use of Rock Pikmin to defeat the creature. Once its diamond or at least some of its beads are destroyed, the Diamond Long Legs moves much faster; furthermore, the creature sustains damage for every destroyed bead, and when its diamond is destroyed, it suspends its torso high enough off the ground that only thrown Yellow Pikmin can reach it. When defeated, it disintegrates into sparkling dust, and the crystal fragments can be retrieved for Pokos. Although extremely challenging, it is possible to defeat a Diamond Long Legs without destroying its diamond shell by simply targeting the beads around its joints; destroying them all will kill the creature, leaving its diamond intact and yielding many more Pokos than its fragments.
