Enraged Cannon Beetles are enemies in Pikmin 3. They look like red Armored Cannon Beetles with yellow glowing eyes. They're peaceful until attacked, upon which steam comes from their wings, and they proceed to spit boulders twice as fast as their relatives. The boulders leave trails of steam in their wake and travel extremely quickly. To add to their attacks, they also will lay eggs that will eventually hatch into Enraged Cannon Beetle Larvae if not dealt with quickly. To defeat it, either pound its back with Purple Pikmin or lodge Pikmin in its blowhole; this will make it go crazy and run into walls, damaging itself until it dislodges the Pikmin.
