The Facsimiled Element is a metal object in Pikmin Forever, and one of the most common metal objects in the game. It is a copper coin resembling a penny. This object can appear many times throughout the game, either sparsely scattered throughout areas or appearing randomly from defeated enemies. No instance of the Facsimiled Element has a set location, and they appear every day. As such a common treasure, it has a weight of 1, and only 1 Pikmin can carry it. It is also only 5 units worth of metal, the lowest value in the game.

- “On one of my previous expeditions to this planet I recovered an artifact with a similar design to this. That other artifact was a pure piece of gold, a true treasure to behold as well as salvage. This hunk of metal does not capture that luster; even the Pikmin's eyes do not light up when they tote it around. Perhaps it's the gold talking, but I feel a little ashamed to have to call these tarnished wafers necessary to survival.”
