The Enraged Dirigibug is a dirigibug appearing in Pikmin: The After Years. It has a crimson-colored body and light green eyes, and atop its body is a cluster of red, balloon-like air sacs that air engulfed in blistering flames. Its signature attack is similar to that of its relative, the Careening Dirigibug, although it spits up volatile fireballs instead of bomb rocks. These fireballs explode into a cloud of flame upon hitting any surface, burning all but Red Pikmin. Only Red Pikmin are able to bring it down from the air with their weight, and any Pikmin type may attack it after it is grounded.

The Flaming Dirigibug is a species of dirigibug that utilizes fire rather than bomb rocks and appears in Pikmin: Planetary Evolution. When Pikmin or leaders draw near, a Flaming Dirigibug will spit up a fireball. How it produces fireballs is unknown, but the strange flowers in the cave it is found in may provide a clue.

The Hot Dirigibug is a dirigibug that uses explosive fireballs instead of bomb rocks. It has a red body and orange eyes, and its air sacs are white, yellow, red, orange, and pink. Upon impact, the fireballs of a Hot Dirigibug explode into searing flames, igniting all Pikmin caught in the blast except Red Pikmin. Starting upon reaching half-health, a Hot Dirigibug will exhale a jet of flame whenever it returns to the air from being knocked to the ground.
