The Inferno Beetle is a scarab beetle in Pikmin 2... Again?. It resembles the Anode Beetle, but its markings are red and shaped like rhombuses. Upon spotting Pikmin and leaders, it will turn around and briefly blow fire at them from its backside. It can't be flipped by landing a Pikmin on top of it, but while attacking, its wings open, rendering its back vulnerable. Once it closes its wings, it will release a burst of flame.

The Flaming Beetle is a scarab beetle appearing in Pikmin: The After Years. Unlike Anode Beetles, they have red spots and spew fire from their rear ends when two of them meet. This attack will burn all but Red Pikmin. Any Pikmin can be used to flip it over so long as it isn't producing jets of flame. Thrown Purple Pikmin will also flip multiple of these beasts over due to the shockwaves they create upon landing.
