The Forte Grousp is a snavian in Pikmin: Dual Worlds that has a long, sharp beak, a large black plume of feathers around its head and neck, grey-and-brown scales with black stripes on its back, and orange stripes on its sharp tail feathers. The Forte Grousp can use its beak in a variety of ways, such as by rapidly pecking and stabbing at Pikmin, leaders, and smaller enemies, swinging it in an arc at them, and slamming it into the ground under them; furthermore, it may slam onto the ground and then use its beak to execute a devastating two-hundred-seventy-degree slash, throwing Pikmin to the side, often depetaling them in the process, crushing them, or cutting them to bits. When approached from behind, the creature can shake its tail feathers to cut its prey, an attack telegraphed by it ruffling its rear plumage. Despite its broad range of offensive measures, the Forte Grasp attacks rather slowly, allowing leaders and Pikmin some time to dodge. Its rather long body, however, gives it greater reach than most other snavians. Ranging Excalivlets are one of the few beings capable of blocking or deflecting its attacks, though they often need to work as a team to do so, and can, on occasion, be found nearby, practicing against each other or fighting the beast itself. Fighting the beast personally after a failed attempt of theirs tends to lead to an easier fight, as it will usually be moderately injured.
