A gift, also known as a present in fanon media, is an item that a Pikmin that is at the maximum friendship level can be sent on a special expedition to recover. A gift is always located precisely where the Pikmin's seedling was found, and once the gift is collected, the Pikmin leaps inside and emerges as a Decor Pikmin.
In fanon media, gifts can have a variety of purposes, such as concealing something, usually an item, which can be beneficial or detrimental.
