Honey Pikmin are a species of golden-colored Pikmin appearing in Pikmin: Other Frontier. They have a consistency and golden sheen much like that of nectar, and are unable to drink nectar due to a lack of a mouth, making advancing their maturity difficult. To compensate for their low mobility, Honey Pikmin stick to enemies they are thrown or latch onto, making them difficult to be shaken off, and can slow down enemies if enough Honey Pikmin are on them. Moreover, Honey Pikmin can not be replanted, such as Swooping Snitchbugs or Mamutas, after initially being born. Lastly, Honey Pikmin can solidify certain liquids with their high viscosity. Honey Pikmin can only be propagated from Amber Candypop Buds, a subterranean species of candypop bud.
