The Illint is a small grub-dog appearing in Pikmin E. When attacked, an Illint will bleat to alert and attract nearby Illints to join in on the fight. They are led by the King Illint.

Notes

Olimar's notes

They remind me of bulborbs almost, Eli says they remind him of something called an "ant". I'm starting to think he isn't from around here...

Louie's cookbook

There isn't much difference cooking this instead of a bulborb, but I'd recommend replacing the lime with lemon.

Eli's notes

Reminds me of small creatures we have back home called ants. The eyestalks are a solid weak point, however.

Notes

Olimar's notes

These creatures are quite similar to bulborbs, right down to their weak eyestalks! Despite their different appearance, I do not think they're different enough to classify as a separate family.

Louie's cookbook

There isn't much difference cooking this instead of bulborbs, but I'd recommend replacing the lime with lemon, for a bit more of a tangy taste.

Attacks Eats Pikmin, alerts other Illints

The Illint is a DLC enemy appearing in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The creature somewhat resembles the common Red Bulborb, however, it is radically different physically. It resembles a small beetle-like creature; with 4 legs, an oblong, flattish body, and an attached head with two elongated stalks. The Illint will crawl around, usually holding something, typically pellets, treasures, or nectar. If attacked, the Illint will retaliate by grabbing up to 2 Pikmin and eating them. If it loses three-fourths of its health, the Illint will let out a bleat. This bleat can do a variety of things depending on where it is. If completely alone, 2 new Illints, which do not bleat, will appear to assist it. If it bleats near other Illints or during the King Illint fight, they will join the fight. Sometimes, a bleat may even summon a Guardint. Rarely, an Illint may call in another Illint when it dies, but this is around a 5% chance.
