Paved Plain a big road, and it appears in the game Pikmin: Invasion of the Giants. Most of the enemies in this level involve acid, along with acid lake hazards. The best type of Pikmin to use for this area would be Green Pikmin.

This area is co-created by Peach Bulborb and 13pikmar.

Layout

This is a fairly large area, but it doesn't have the greatest diversity. You just start on a sidewalk, and from there you can run out onto the road. There is a complete absence of enemies on the surface, with the exception of a couple Red Bulborbs. Humans are constantly walking around the sidewalk, sometimes with harmless dogs. If you venture onto the road, you will find cars occasionally driving by.

Threats

Humans - The humans walk by and are impervious to attack, but can still step on Pikmin. They occasionally are walking dogs, but the dogs are also invincible, but they cannot crush Pikmin as easily.

  • It is worth noting that there are three kinds of humans. One has green shorts with an orange t-shirt and black shoes; one is a businessman in a grey suit with a tie, black shoes, and a briefcase; the final one is a woman in a blue dress with black high-heeled shoes and a dog that she is walking.

Cars - Cars are rather generic, you see the usual kind of car in any color. When they race by, they can squish you and your Pikmin. If the Pikmin or one of the leaders is squished, this means an instant knockout.

  • The cars have an early warning system, however. When they begin to approach, the Treasure Detector will begin to beep, increasing in speed the closer the car gets. This is noted in a small cutscene that appears.

Cutscene

Olimar and Louie exit the spaceship. They see humans approaching, so they flee onto the road. However, once they get on, the Treasure Detector begins to go off. Olimar looks puzzled at it, as he cannot see any treasure around. Suddenly, a car drives by, nearly flattening him and the Pikmin. Olimar looks at the detector and notices that it has died down. The ship then tells them that they were nearly run over, and to be more careful in the future. The Ship also theorizes that the car may have something to do with the humans that have been appearing.
