Petals are items used for flower planting as a consumable resource. Aside from purchasing them from the shop, they are obtained by feeding nectar to Pikmin, causing a flower to bloom on the end of the stem, and then plucking the petals from that flower. Because there are several types and colors of flowers, and nectars corresponding to them, several types and colors of petals exist, each planting different types of flowers.
