The pikapult is a device used to propel Pikmin and leaders in a particular direction by placing them in one often larger end and exerting downward blunt force on the other often smaller end. The source of the downward blunt force can range from a Purple Pikmin pound, a falling object, or a stomp delivered from an enemy.

The pikapult appears in Pikmin: The After Years. It is used by placing up to nine Pikmin in the spoon on one end and then landing a Purple Pikmin onto the opposite, purple end. It is useful for reaching certain airborne enemies, such as the Terrordactyl, and certain treasures, such as those located above a sublevel's ground. An Eyevine typically grows around each one, requiring its defeat to access that particular pikapult. Moreover, in caves, some pikapults launch Pikmin into dangerous obstacles such as gas pipes and even electrical wires that are present on the ceiling above.
