Pikmin: Olimar's Return is a real-time strategy Pikmin game created by Pikminleader666. The game features Olimar, his son, Sagittarius, his friend, Louie, the President, and the Koppaites, Alph, Brittany, and Charlie.

Plot

After the Koppaites return Olimar to Hocotate, Olimar realizes that Louie is missing, again. The President tells Olimar to find Louie, but not before giving Olimar a gift, which is his own ship, the S.S. Dolphin, with some improvements: two cockpits, a resting area, and a new storage bay. The President then tells Olimar that his son, Sagittarius, passed Captain Camp, and that was the reason why there are two cockpits instead of one.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a flash of light appears, and Olimar is shocked to see the S.S. Drake appear in its place. Out of it comes Alph, who tells Olimar about a man named Deiven who was planning to take over the Pikmin Planet. Olimar races to his home, grabs his son, and comes back to get on the ship. When he does, the President boards the gold-painted Hocotate Freight Smart Ship, and Alph rejoins Brittany and Charlie on the S.S. Drake. Together, the three ships race towards the Pikmin Planet, the fate of the Pikmin resting in the hands of Olimar and company.

  • Solar Radar – an important radar that helps the Smart Ship navigate.

The leaders rescue Louie from it, and then track Deiven's whereabouts only to realize that he is in the area's sole cave, controlling a mechanical Emperor Snagret. After that, leaders express their farewells to the Pikmin and depart once more.

Nighttime

In Bulborb Beach and Forbidden Forest, leaders can explore during the night. The Onions, however, are inactive during this time, necessitating the use of Bulbmin. Leaders can last more than three days and two nights without rest, and can even be called out during this time. Nighttime exploration can be ended early, much like daytime exploration.
