Pikmin: The President's Wife is a Pikmin spin-off game wherein the series' minor characters go on their own adventure to PNF-404 to stop the President's wife's heinous scheme. The game's controls are identical to that of Pikmin 3.
Story
After the events of Pikmin 5, Olimar and his wife go on vacation, leaving their son and daughter with Olimar's mom and dad, who take them to a tech expo where Alph's grandfather, Drake, is showing off some new technology. Meanwhile, the President's wife is furious when her husband fails to bring her back even one treasure from his latest adventure, so she concocts an evil plan to go to PNF-404, take all of its treasure for herself, and become the richest person in the universe. She kidnaps the President and has Hocotate Freight mine the planet dry, keeping her husband captive aboard her ship in secret, so Hocotate Freight's workers believe he's simply away and would have no reason to suspect anything. Olimar finds out about this because of an encoded message the President recorded and sent to him on his Hocotate phone, so Olimar, because he's on vacation, decides to send a spare spaceship he created to recruit six capable individuals to stop the President's wife. Those six individuals end up being Olimar's son and daughter, Louie's dad, Drake, Alph's younger brother, and Brittany's aunt Bea, who use the spare ship to go to PNF-404 to stop the President's wife and save the President and PNF-404.
