The Providence Totem is a metal object in Pikmin Forever, and one of the most common metal objects in the game. It is a small metal die. This object can appear many times throughout the game, either sparsely scattered throughout areas or appearing randomly from defeated enemies. No instance of the Providence Totem has a set location, and they appear every day. As such a common treasure, it has a weight of 1, and only 1 Pikmin can carry it. It is also only 5 units worth of metal, the lowest value in the game.

- “For some reason these little totems always remind me of how important it is to expect the unexpected. On this planet, the only thing I can assuredly expect is the loyalty and bravery of the Pikmin. I mustn't leave any of my commands to chance! Which reminds me, when Pikmin are carrying fallen beasts or building materials, I should remember to tap the carrying icon if I need to change their destination.”
