Attacks Eats Pikmin, petrifies Pikmin

The Purple Bulbear is a species of bulbear appearing in Pikmin: Spark. They make their dwellings exclusively in dens. Like their smaller, younger form, their bodies have a deep purple hue to them with magenta-colored eyes and indigo skin. They subsist mainly on a diet of poisonous creatures and other usually inedible matter to build up an immunity to various toxins. Relevant toxins it is immune to include being poisoned by eating White Pikmin and getting petrified by ultra-bitter spray. As dwarfs, they become acclimated to having constant indigestion and begin using their bad breath for hunting. They spew their smoky breath onto prey to petrify them into stone, freezing them in place before consuming them. This breath also affects all Pikmin except, ironically, Rock Pikmin, meaning that type of Pikmin is best suited for fighting this creature.

Notes

Abel's medical journal

The breath instantly caused Lyn to collapse upon breathing it in. So there is a use to that, otherwise unusable.

Lyn's sale review

Its breath is bad? Completely untrue! Bottle this up and watch as your lover collapses from your signature scent.
