Rainmaker Pitchersacs appear in Pikmin: Dual Worlds in a few areas, mostly in Latitude Lavaflow, Daybreak Desert, and Salem Swamp, as well as some caves. The water within their sac can be used to, among other things, cool down hot rocks for a time, provide to plants, wash away enemies, or raise water levels. They often leak, especially while in rainy weather. Pikmin beneath them may suddenly start to drown as a result of the water droplets that fall off of it, so it isn't much of a good form of cover when it rains. They also might act as obstacles, though clearing them might not necessarily be a good idea. The water it releases upon bursting may splash on Pikmin, causing them to drown if they aren't whistled soon after. Almost anything beneath it when it bursts is sure to be damaged heavily almost immediately, if not destroyed. They have smaller variants, such as the Droplet Pitchersack and Overflowing Pitchersack, as well as an acidic but smaller variant known as the Corrosive Pitchersack.
