The Skull Pikmin is a type of Pikmin appearing in The President's Adventure. As their name suggests, they have a completely skeletal appearance. Skull Pikmin have a one-in-ten chance of appearing in place of an enemy corpse that is left to rest overnight, and so are rare to encounter. They are resistant to water, electricity, and fire, and although they can not damage obstacles, they can battle enemies. Additionally, they require double the amount of nectar, a full blob to be exact, to advance in maturity as other Pikmin do. When a Skull Pikmin suffers damage that would kill it or is thrown into a wall at high speed, it shatters apart while making a sound similar to the one a Dry Bones from the Super Mario franchise makes when it shatters apart. Other Pikmin can carry the Skull Pikmin's fragments to an Onion to its normal form, and enemies that attempt to eat the fragments will choke on them and lose health.

Skeletal Pikmin are Pikmin that have been electrocuted rapidly, their skin burned away. It still has a brain that can support its life force, but acts mindless.
