The Splattering Blinnow is an opportunistic, merciless hunter appearing in Pikmin: Dual Worlds. It has small, forward-facing eyes that are orange with lime-green irises, a wide forehead, deep purple stripes and spots, pale yellow sides, comparatively grayer scales, a long, teal tail fin, and a big mouth. Its darker coloration helps it blend in with the dark rocks and algae of the riverbeds. Its small stature is deceiving, for every three seconds it can shoot water over many centimeters away, at Pikmin and leaders. Prey that falls into the water it inhabits will quickly be eaten; it can eat two Pikmin at a time, and can down a leader from full health in a mere thirty-two bites. It can leap high out of the water and can drag Pikmin on land into the water with it.
