Attacks Steals items, eats Pikmin

The Thieving Wiskerpillar is a species of larval whiskerpillar appearing in Pikmin: Spark. It has a notable blue-and-teal-colored body with cyan whiskers. They live in deep caves and spend most of their time sleeping before pupating into a Hoarding Stringfly. As scavengers, they can suddenly rise out of the ground in swarms to steal items such as pellets and spiderwort berries, which they then bring into dens that house both them and Hoarding Stringflies. What makes them extremely dangerous is their ability to extract Pikmin directly from their Onions and take them into their dens for consumption. The total Pikmin population decreasing with no apparent cause can be a telltale sign that a swarm of Thieving Whiskerpillars is attacking an Onion. Fortunately, they are frail, even for a whiskerpillar, and can be instantly defeated by a well-timed Purple Pikmin throw.

Notes

Abel's medical journal

Nothing of note about these, although you could say they are a medical hazard because of their propensity of stealing items and leaving behind germs.

Lyn's sale review

These creatures could be trained to track and collect criminals sort of like guard dogs. Alas, they are quite slippery fellows so more examining is needed.
