The Toxic Possworm is the third major boss in Pikmin 4: The World to Free, where it is found in the Trash Kingdom. It is a massive snake-like worm with various shades of pink on its transparent body. It has a spade-shaped tail akin to an anchor, and no visible eyes, and a purple appendage on its head. The Toxic Possworm relentlessly slinks toward leaders, and to repel it, Pikmin must place bomb rocks in its path. The bomb rock will explode in the beast's stomach, stunning it for long enough for the squad to attack it efficiently. Additionally, there is a geyser in the far south of the arena sealed with a clog, and if unplugged, will soak the Toxic Possworm, harming it.

- “This creature has quite the stomach. It almost seems like it can eat anything and never get full. However, this is because its nasty saliva can dissolve anything in three seconds. Once the food is fully dissolved, it sends the energy to its skin to keep it moist and healthy. However, Pikmin are the least reliable source for its needs... Could it have been summoned?”
