In Pikmin E, the Toy Blowhog is a blowhog exclusive to Mission Mode. It is a large, carved wooden toy that resembles a Withering Blowhog and is tied to a string. Despite being made of wood, it can puff air at Pikmin, and, in doing so, makes a whistle-like sound that causes the Pikmin to group around the creature. When this happens, it slowly descends, and once on the ground, it begins eating every Pikmin surrounding it. To prevent affected Pikmin from dying, simply whistle them back.
