Watery Blowhogs are much like Fiery Blowhogs, except that their trunk has a blue rim, and they spew from it a watery fluid instead of fire, posing a threat to all except Blue Pikmin. Leaders caught in its attack will be harmed because of the fluid's slight acidity and even potentially knocked to the ground because of its strong flow.

Notes
Brittany's notes
- “Which came first: the Watery, or the Fiery? This is a question that is in hot debate (excuse the pun) in the scientific community. It is possible that the Fiery Blowhog refined the Watery Blowhog's chemical into something that combusts, but at the same time, the Watery Blowhog could have changed to avert the dangers of playing with fire, instead opting for a strong dissolving agent.”
Olimar's notes
- “The Watery Blowhog is just like the Fiery one, only blue. If you don't have Blue Pikmin to take it out, make sure to avoid the area in front of its snout as you defeat it with your squad.”
Louie's notes
- “The super juicy hide essentially comes pre-brined and makes rubs a breeze. Feel free to experiment when grilling such succulence.”

The Watery Blowhog is a returning enemy in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The creature resembles its classic design throughout the Pikmin series, although its bottom half has a slightly bluish tinge. The Watery Blowhog slowly wanders around its territory and will charge up to Pikmin it spots to spew a stream of water that can choke non-Blue Pikmin. The Watery Blowhog is slightly stronger and moves faster than before. If near fire, the Watery Blowhog will spew less water in a shorter range.

Notes
Olimar's notes
- “I wonder what would happen if a mix of the Fiery Blowhog and the Watery Blowhog species would end up like... Maybe an air blower... Probably because it would shoot fire and water, turning the water into steam...”
