The Webbed Bulbear appears in Pikmin Z as the sole species of bulbear to adapt to life in water. Its appearance resembles a smaller version of a bulbear with brownish-green skin, and webbed feet, hence the name. It swims in a manner like that of a real-world frog and can do so in deeper water. It moves slightly faster in water than on land. Its diet consists of small terrestrial and aquatic prey and its predators are creatures larger than itself. Webbed Bulbears should be approached and attacked like any other larger grub-dog. The use of Blue Pikmin is highly advised as Webbed Bulbears are typically found in or near water.
